This Privacy Policy ("Policy") outlines how Nebbi, Inc. ("Nebbi," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you access or use the Nebbi mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect several types of data to enhance your user experience and improve the functionality of the App. This includes:

  • Personal Information:
    When you sign up, you provide us with your name, email address, and date of birth. You may also voluntarily share your gender, family makeup (e.g., whether you're a parent or not, and details about your children), and mood tracking data.

  • Health and Wellness Data:
    We collect wellness-related information, such as mood tracking and journal entries, which are provided voluntarily by you.

  • Technical Information:
    We automatically collect technical information about your device, including your IP address, device identifiers, operating system, session duration, usage behavior, and in-app preferences. This data helps us improve the App and your experience.

  • Payment Information:
    All payment processing is handled through third-party services, such as RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play. We do not directly collect payment information.

2. Medical Disclaimer

Nebbi is a wellness app designed to help users track and improve their well-being. We do not provide medical, therapeutic, or psychological services, and our content should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you experience a mental health crisis, we encourage you to seek professional help immediately.

3. Purpose of Data Use

We collect and use your information for several purposes, including:

  • To personalize content and services based on your mood and wellness data.

  • To authenticate user accounts and provide support when needed.

  • To analyze trends and enhance the user experience through performance data.

  • To ensure the security of the App and protect against fraud or other unlawful activities.

  • To comply with legal obligations, including those required by data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

4. Founding Membership

As part of our exclusive launch, we offer a Founding Membership to a limited number of users. These members receive unique benefits, including:

  • Special pricing and exclusive features.

  • Non-refundable subscriptions: Founding Memberships are non-refundable, even if you decide to delete your account. Once deleted, your Founding Membership cannot be reinstated.

If you are a Founding Member, your subscription will be subject to the terms of this policy, and we may use your data to communicate membership-related updates and benefits.

5. Data Sharing

We do share certain user data with third-party service providers to operate the App and enhance its features. These providers are contractually obligated to safeguard your data. We share data with:

  • Hosting Services (e.g., Firebase)

  • Payment Processors (e.g., RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play, Stripe)

  • Analytics Tools (e.g., Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics)

These third parties do not have access to your personal wellness data (e.g., mood entries, journal entries) and are only allowed to use your data for the specified services they provide.

6. Data Storage & Security

  • Where is data stored?
    Your data is stored securely in cloud services, such as Firebase. We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

  • Security Measures:
    While we use commercially reasonable efforts to protect your data, please be aware that no digital storage or transmission method is entirely secure.

  • Encryption:
    We utilize encryption for data storage and transmission, including data at rest and in transit, to safeguard your privacy.

7. Children’s Privacy

Nebbi is not intended for users under the age of 13, or under 16 in jurisdictions where such consent is required. If we discover that we have unintentionally collected data from a child under the applicable age, we will take steps to delete that data.

8. International Users

  • GDPR Compliance:
    If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), your data will be processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • CCPA Compliance:
    For users located in California, your data rights are protected under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

  • International Transfers:
    Your data may be transferred to countries outside your jurisdiction, including the United States, where it will be subject to appropriate legal mechanisms for data protection.

9. Third-Party Services

We work with several third-party services to enhance your experience, including:

  • RevenueCat: Manages subscription services and payments.

  • Firebase: Provides cloud storage, authentication, analytics, and user engagement tools.

  • Google Analytics for Firebase: Collects anonymized data on app usage.

These third parties are required to protect your data and do not access your personal wellness data.

10. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

While we do not use traditional cookies, the App may use SDKs or APIs for performance and usage tracking. You can limit tracking features through your device’s privacy settings.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have these rights:

  • Access: You can request access to your personal data we hold about you. .

  • Rectification: You can request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Erasure: You can request that we delete your personal data.

  • Restriction or Processing: You may request that we limit the use of your data in certain circumstances and that we restrict processing of your data.

  • Data Portability: You can request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.

  • Objection: You can object to our data processing activities of your personal data.


CCPA (For California Residents)

  • Know what personal information we collect about you

  • Request deletion of your personal information

  • Opt-out of the sale of your personal information (note: we do not sell personal information)

  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights


How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@nebbi.io. All requests are currently

processed manually, and we will respond to your request within 45 days.

12. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your Nebbi account at any time within the App. Once deleted, all your personal information and user content will be permanently removed. Deletion does not entitle you to a refund for any existing subscriptions, including Founding Memberships. Founding Memberships cannot be reinstated after account deletion.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make changes, we will revise the effective date and notify you via in-app messaging or other reasonable means. By continuing to use the App after changes take effect, you consent to the updated Policy.
